To avoid errors during activation through ING, we recommend first blocking your account at https://my.itsme-id.com/account/block.
Then follow the next steps:
- Make sure you have the latest ING and itsme app version installed.
- Open itsme, enter your phone number and choose ING as your ID provider.
- You will be redirected to the ING bank app.
- Log in to your ING app.
- Perform a signature with your card reader.
- You will be redirected back to the itsme® app.
- Enter the verification code you received via SMS in the itsme® app.
- Choose a personal 5-digit itsme® code and confirm it.
- Activate TouchID/FaceID if desired
