With the Connective plugin, you can securely log in, sign documents, and activate your itsme account with your eID. Follow the steps below to correctly install the plugin and browser extension.
1: Download and install the software
Select your operating system (Windows or macOS)
Download the installation file

Open your Downloads folder and run the installer
Windows: double-click the
.exefilemacOS: open the
.pkgfile and follow the instructions
Tip: Check your Downloads folder to make sure the file was actually downloaded.
2: Add the extension to your browser
Click the button to install the extension for your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari)
Follow your browser’s on-screen steps to complete the installation
3: Make sure the extension is active
Open your browser settings
Go to Extensions or Add-ons
Check that the Connective eSign Browser Extension is enabled
Important for macOS:
On Mac, the extension is not always activated automatically. Make sure it’s switched on via the settings of your browser
Troubleshooting
Check your Downloads folder and re-run the installer if needed
Restart your browser
