The icons in the itsme app are an additional security measure. By selecting the same icon that you see on the website, you secure the connection between your browser and your itsme app.

When do you see the icons?

• During identification, login, or confirmation with itsme. The icons appear at random times or when you use a browser for the first time.
• With every signature using itsme. By selecting the correct icon in the app, you validate the document to be signed. You will be asked to do this step every time you sign.

If you see an incorrect sequence of icons or an incorrect orange icon in your app, you must reject this action and start the process again.
