You might see this error message when trying to log in to a government website or app.
How to fix this issue:
Avoid opening links from email apps or other apps with a buit-in browser.
Android:
- Make sure that Google Chrome is set as your default browser.
- Delete all browser data in Google Chrome app via settings (the three dots in the top right corner of Chrome) > History
- Open the itsme app and click on "Discover". Now click on the partner you wish to sign up with and choose to sign up via itsme
iPhone:
- Make sure Safari is set as your default browser (this is usually the case automatically) and do not browse in private mode.
- Clear Safari’s browsing data via Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data (select the longest time period).
- Open the itsme app and click on Discover. Then select the partner you want to log in with and choose to log in via itsme.
