You can now easily log in with itsme using a QR code, or, if available, the alternative method using your phone number.
How to log in using a QR code?
- Open your web browser and go to the partner website where you want to log in.
- Select itsme as the login method.
- Open the itsme app on your smartphone.
- Tap ‘Scan QR’ and scan the QR code shown on your computer screen.
- Identify yourself and confirm the action just like you normally do in the itsme app.
Note: the QR code can only be scanned with the itsme app, not with other apps or your phone’s camera.
Important:
Our partners are switching to a new login method on their desktop websites:
- The QR code will become the default and only way to log in via itsme on a computer.
- The option to enter a phone number will disappear for these partners.
- Not all partners will make this switch at the same time, so you may still see differences between websites.
On mobile devices, nothing changes: everything works app‑to‑app, and you no longer need to enter a phone number.
